Art

Aggressive with a peaceful mind.

01

Wound in the Quiet

Kenny Wu, 2026, Digital

Dark maroon squares sit quietly, like a closed room, until a white tear rips straight through them and bleeds. The calm holds its place while the wound opens, which is how anger is felt from the inside.

02

Ember Hour

Kenny Wu, 2026, Digital

A warm orange evening, two blocks of light just resting, while the ground below is scorched and the embers are still alive. Peace can rest directly above a fire. The work records the hour before it spreads.

03

Neon Rupture

Kenny Wu, 2026, Digital

Violet and teal stack like a calm night city, then pink explodes in the middle and drips down. The burst is the pressure I carry, and the order around it continues to hold. The holding is the subject.

04

Fault Line Nocturne

Kenny Wu, 2026, Digital

Deep blue and green, heavy and still like water at night, split by a gold crack that runs like lightning through a wall. Something breaks, and light enters through the break. I remain still and allow it.

05

Crossed Out

Kenny Wu, 2026, Digital

Crimson and plum, soft as an old curtain, crossed out again and again with black slashes. Each mark is a refusal. The anger leaves its trace, yet the softer color beneath remains.

06

Rose Field, Acid Rain

Kenny Wu, 2026, Digital

Rose and gold, as gentle as skin in morning light, with a torn band of acid green cutting across the bottom. Even the sweetest calm has poison running through it. I hold both without choosing.

07

Clawed Garden

Kenny Wu, 2026, Digital

A green garden made of quiet blocks, clawed open so orange shows in the scratches like heat under skin. The garden survives. This is what peace looks like after a struggle.

08

Big Bang Meditation

Kenny Wu, 2026, Digital

Turquoise on one side, coral on the other, two calm worlds that explode in white and black where they touch. A beginning is always violent. I try to remain at its center and breathe.

09

Glass Scream

Kenny Wu, 2026, Digital

Ice blue and white, cold and clear, shattered like glass hit from the inside. It is the cry I never voiced. Silence held it together until it no longer could.

10

Burned Through

Kenny Wu, 2026, Digital

Charcoal smoke and saffron light, slow and heavy, with a hole burned straight through the center. Some pressure does not explode; it burns slowly. What survives is the glow around the edge.

11

Acid vs. Blood

Kenny Wu, 2026, Digital

Acid green attacks a field of blood red, while a small patch of lavender stays soft beneath it all. Two angers fight for the surface. The calm is the part underneath that nobody can reach.

12

Strike Night

Kenny Wu, 2026, Digital

A deep navy night, calm and endless, struck by cyan lightning again and again. The storm is loud, but the night stays dark and patient. I want to be the night, not the strike.

13

Ripped Open

Kenny Wu, 2026, Digital

Magenta and yellow tear open like a wound, and inside there is a soft sage green, completely quiet. Tearing something open does not always reveal pain. Sometimes the peace was in there the whole time.

14

Riot Glow

Kenny Wu, 2026, Digital

Orange and blue spray blasts across the surface, loud as a street at night, while one amber rectangle keeps glowing underneath. It is a window in a riot. I paint to keep that light from going out.

15

Knife Weather

Kenny Wu, 2026, Digital

Red and black gouged in hard, like a blade dragged through paint, beside a field of cobalt that stays cool and steady. The weather turns sharp. I keep one part of myself cool and blue.

16

Neon Flood

Kenny Wu, 2026, Digital

Neon lime and magenta pour down like rain that does not stop, drowning a dark oxblood rectangle beneath. Everything bright works to bury the quiet. The quiet remains, holding its breath.

17

Meltdown Halo

Kenny Wu, 2026, Digital

Purple and chrome melt and drip like burning plastic all around the frame. In the middle, an apricot glow stays warm and untouched. Everything toxic is closing in, and the light inside refuses to melt.

18

Negative Bloom

Kenny Wu, 2026, Digital

An explosion of icy white rays, like an x-ray of something blowing apart. At its center sits one small gold square, perfectly still. The blast is noise; the square is where I stand.

19

Signal Lost

Kenny Wu, 2026, Digital

Mint and lilac glow softly, like a screen at the end of the night. Black and red glitches tear across it, cutting the signal. The connection fails at times, but the soft light returns.

20

Ash Vigil

Kenny Wu, 2026, Digital

Soot and ash fall down the surface like the air after a fire. Behind it, a butter-yellow glow keeps watch. A vigil is staying awake when everything is burned, and that small light is my refusal to leave.

21

Under the Ice

Kenny Wu, 2026, Digital

White and blue ice, cracked all over, cold and heavy. Under it, a warm orange glow is trapped and still burning. That is what holding it in feels like: the ice cracks, but the warmth survives underneath.

22

Corrosion Garden

Kenny Wu, 2026, Digital

Deep petrol teal, calm as still water, with pale bleach blooms eating into it. The corrosion looks like flowers, and that is the danger. Damage can grow quietly and beautifully; I paint it in order to see it clearly.

23

Magnetic Storm

Kenny Wu, 2026, Digital

Rust-dark bursts like iron filings pull in from every edge toward a patch of sky blue. The storm wants to close the gap. I keep the sky open in the middle, the way I keep my mind open under pressure.

24

Tar Tide

Kenny Wu, 2026, Digital

A soft honey and blush sky, the calm end of a day. Below it, black tar rises in heavy waves, swallowing the ground. The tide is coming in, and I look up at the sky while it does.
